You may not only attend and enjoy all the LCCO concerts, you may also share in the pleasure and responsibility of making them possible! Become a member of the Lee County Community Orchestra Association by completing the application form and sending it with your check to PO Box 3174, Sanford, NC 27331. Note that you may, if you wish, contribute in honor or memory of someone. You will receive a receipt indicating the amount of your tax-deductible (ID #48-1807206) contribution, and your membership will be acknowledged in all concert programs.

Tara Villa Chamra

The Lee County Community Orchestra
Welcomes Our New Conductor!!

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Tara Villa Chamra is in her seventh season as music director of the Davidson College Symphony Orchestra in North Carolina. She has won conducting competitions both nationally and internationally. She has conducted orchestras in Arkansas, Georgia, Pennsylvania and South Carolina, as well as abroad in Germany, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.

Tara holds degrees from Franklin & Marshall College, the Pennsylvania State University, and the University of South Carolina.

She is very excited about her new position as Conductor of the Lee County Community Orchestra and looks forward to leading the orchestra in continuing
to provide community audiences the concerts they have enjoyed over the
years."
